The Air-Flex is an electric adjustable-height treatment table designed to makeflexion-distraction easier than ever before. Its truly unique design offers a height range from 21" to 29" (or 22 1/2" to 30") with air-powered flexion and distraction. Air-thoracic breakaway and pneumatic drops are optional. The air features on the table are supplied by a self-contained pneumatic ystem. Both the air-compressor and the electric elevation systems are safely enclosed within the telescoping base.

A small internal air-compressor runs quietly and only periodically to replenish the large air-storage tank. Compressed air is then channeled from the tank to air-powered components chosen with the selector switch. You can position the selector switch to flexion, distraction, thoracic air-breakaway or drops. The level of air-pressure is controlled with the foot pedal. When flexing a patient, the selector switch is positioned to "FLEX". You can increase or decrease the pressure in the flexion pneumatic cylinder to perfectly counterbalance the patient's weight. With the patient now floating on a pillow of air, virtually no effort is required to apply flexion. Controlling the distraction and air-thoracic breakaway is also as simple as touching the footpedal. The Air-Flex is equipped with three gear-locks for securing the flexion, rotation and lateral motion.
